Learning capacity improvement
  Strategic Learning Workshop: Fulfill the requirements of university students from their first to fourth years by establishing a structure of workshop courses that consist of four categories, including foreign language, organization and management, digital technology, and learning strategies. Provide actual operations and highly interactive guidance through peer interactions and exchanges, in hopes of helping students discover and improve their learning strategies, methods, and techniques.

Assisting regular students with academic needs: Submit applications during the semester for one-on-one to one-on-three individual assistance by Teaching Assistants or junior and senior students to resolve university students' learning barriers and problems.

-Scheduled courses: Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Calculus, etc.

-Individual applications: For other subjects or for those who cannot attend scheduled courses.

Assisting high-risk (1/2) students with academic needs: Provide assistance to high-risk students after mid-term examinations in accordance with student information referred from instructors, in order to understand the difficulties they face in their studies and provide appropriate care.

Learning Progress Award: Award students for exceeding their abilities, in three categories: Personal, Team and Self Expected.
Cross-disciplinary expansion
  Celebrity lectures(suspended): Invite experts and well-known speakers to share their unique knowledge and perspectives through diversified lectures that expand students' horizons, enhance their learning skills and help students overcome each difficulty they face in learning.

Reading expert(suspended): Coordinate with the library in the provision of diversified reading lists on different subjects, in order to encourage students to acquire knowledge from other disciplines. Invite students to write and share their reflections after reading and inspire their peers to do the same, thus cultivating the interest to read and learn.

Learning communities: Encourage students to form learning communities across universities, colleges, departments, and years, to achieve the purposes of experience and knowledge sharing and the enhancement of learning efficacy through actual or virtual interactions in peer groups and studies of academic or extra-curricular reading materials.

Elite student workshops(suspended): Organize extra-curricular activities and study camps to enhance students' knowledge and leadership skills, and inspire students' learning motivation and interests by means of contextualized group activities and positive competition, in order to strengthen their leadership knowledge and skills and cultivate their powers for cross-disciplinary innovation.
Talent cultivation
  Teaching Assistant (TA) training and evaluation: Organize related study activities to enhance the teaching and professional knowledge of Teaching Assistants, including basic and advanced education training courses and the selection of exceptional and excellent Teaching Assistants. Advance TA teaching, expressive and communication skill through evaluation and feedback.

Recruitment and training of seed lecturers (suspended): Recruit students that love to learn and are eager to share and provide them with training to serve as seed lecturers for the "Learning Strategies Workshop." The lecture hours are included in their personal learning records and Certificates for Service are given at the end of each school year.
Learning resources integration
  Establishment of students' learning resource platform: Plan, establish and calibrate the "students' learning resource platform" and provide students with a full range of learning resources, and assist them in enriching their academic careers through the platform's information on courses, academic assistance, lectures and career planning. Initial plans include: Related topics including self-testing, online courses, and academic career development.

-Provide questionnaires related to learning on the Student Self-Testing Platform (http://self-test.tku.edu.tw). The platform currently provides questionnaires for learning style and learning motivation.

-Provide more opportunities for independent learning for students, the platform compiled existing online learning websites in OpenCourseWare (OCW) or Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) of the school and other universities, which have been reviewed by professionals in the school for students to learn independently online.

Promotion of the Student ePortfolio System: Plan a variety of activities (such as: sharing learning goals, call for essays on reflections, creativity competitions etc.), encourage the use of the Tamkang University Student ePortfolio System (http://eportfolio.tku.edu.tw/)in hopes that the implementation of the system can facilitate the sharing of learning experiences, invigorate instructors' teachings, and improve students' learning results.
Cross-unit operations
  Learning in University online courses: To differentiate from the learning experiences of the past, and to assist Tamkang freshmen in adapting to learning in university more efficiently and quickly, the Section and the Center for
Distance Education Development jointly developed three online courses for learning in university, namely: "Time Player," "Heartfelt Communication and Expression," and "Super Easy Presentations."

Academic assistance digital courses: Analyze the subjects the students of the University failed, and prioritize the subjects with more failed students, then collaborate with the Center for
Distance Education Development to request the University's teachers to record digital materials for the Internet platform for repeated reviewing by students.
Publications
  Freshmen Know First: To satisfy diverse learning requirements, the Student Learning Development Section provides students with methods and techniques to enhance their independent learning strategies through peer paradigm sharing. All learning service information will be in the "Freshmen Know First" distributed in freshmen training, to welcome Tamkang's freshmen to actively participate in various learning activities.
